I am Tom Johnson — a designer focused on leadership, management, service design and strategy, based in the North West of England.
I am interested in the thinking behind the craft of design: including processes, tooling, innovation and culture in teams.
Most of my career has been spent working in-house across a range of industries, from commercial FMCG to public service. Companies and clients include the BBC, Disney, Nintendo, dentsu, THG and Tui.
An experienced leader of teams tackling complex problems, I have also built teams and disciplines from scratch. Those teams usually include a combination of user research, service design, UX, UI, content design and architecture.
